UO SPORTS PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
COMMUNICATION CONSULTING OCT 2012-FEB 2013
EXPERIENCE
At the outset of this project, the goal was to create a web-based presentation of the new sports product management program at the University of Oregon. The site was intended to be seen by a few hundred industry executives around the globe for their initial feedback and we saw this as an opportunity to define the identity of the program. We presented the university with a creative concept and ran with it, quickly adapting the presentation into a narrative that we tailored for the lives of busy executives (a tablet-friendly responsive site). On February 14th, 2013 the site was launched and the web statistics are a testament to our collaboration:
- Average session time of almost 10 minutes, the goal was 5 minutes
- Bounce rate under 2%
- Average of 6 page views (out of a total of 4) per session
- 100% response rate for all emailed contacts
FEEDBACK
“The Engine OgilvyOne team led by Chris Sataua and Oliver Best, assisted the University of Oregon Sports Product program from vision through execution. They represented a high level of project understanding, collaboration, flexibility and creativity. Although the project deliverable was a website, they really delivered a process that allowed the project to evolve it's communication to better engage the industry and academia in the program.“Thank you for making the process so enjoyable. I look forward to working together in the future.”
